Chamberlin, a U of T University Professor Emeritus of English and comparative literature and former principal of New College, is the author of 10 books that explore a range of topics from the life of Oscar Wilde to poetry in the West Indies. He also served as a senior research associate with the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples, which was a landmark toward redefining the relationship between Indigenous people and Canada’s federal and provincial governments. Chamberlin is an Officer of the Order of Canada and a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. More info
